Abi & Austyn tied the knot at Tournerbury Woods Estate on Hayling Island, and I had the privilege of photographing their memorable day.
When I scouted out this venue in preparation of photographing Abi & Austyn's wedding I was very excited. The decked and covered area outside for alfresco wedding ceremonies was just perfect and the scenery was picturesque. There was an abundance of areas for group shots and couples photos I found myself spoilt for choice. I took the opportunity to get my drone up in the air and had a gorgeous birds eye view of the venue as well as views stretching out across the coastline.

When the day came the weather forecast was a bit sketchy but the rain contained itself to the period of bridal prep and magically the sun came out just before the ceremony. Because I had a larger than usual group shot list and many were of just the bride and her bridal party or family, we were able to use the time before meeting the registrars to grab a few group shots so we wouldn't feel the pressure later.

Abi looked so elegant and timeless in her beautiful off the shoulder, satin gown and Austyn complimented her with his own dapper attire. During the signing of the register, their daughter was allowed to sign her name on her very own paperwork which was such a beautiful touch and was something she is sure to remember always.
The speeches are something that will always stand out for me about this wedding. You could really see just how in love Abi & Austyn were by the way they spoke about each other and their beautiful daughter during their speeches and at one point there didn't appear to be a dry eye in the house.. I mean I can't be sure as I was a bit glassy eyed myself!
My favourite time of the day came about an hour before sunset and I was blessed with golden hour. We made the most of that sun and took a lovely stroll, visiting each of my pre-scouted spots and we got some beautiful images.

Throughout the day and the evening we had an extra little surprise for guests to participate in. Abi had shown me a collage created by having guests use a cardboard box as a photobooth. It sounds bonkers on paper, however, the end result was very effective and the process was so much fun!

At the end of the evening I took the couple out for one last shot. I had my eyes on a gazebo and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. Using some off camera flash and a bit of magic I backlit the couple and lit up the gazebo which made for an enchanting picture.
